RE: Is a Diesel Super C for me?
I have a 2006 Diesel Seneca with still low mileage due to staying in RV parks most of the the time and not driving alot. I have had no major problems with it and am very pleased. I did have a problem with my Onan generator. It would start and run but would immediately shut down under load and have trouble codes. My authorized Onan mechanic replaced a control board and I have had no more problems. Onan paid for the repairs under warranty. Mechanic did say to start and run the Onan about once a month under load. As far as the Duramax diesel, it runs great and has decent mileage. The storage is adequate although hard to get to with the slides out. I have most of the recalls done through a local authorized Jayco dealer that did not sell me the Seneca but they have always treated me like I bought it there. In my opinion, I have purchased a good motorhome within my budget. There are plenty of other Super C manufacturers that are more expensive but I feel I got my moneys worth. Everyone has different experiences that have owned RV,s but after owning a bumper pull, fifth wheel and now a motorhome, I have enjoyed it the most with my Jeep Liberty on the back.

2006 Chevrolet Kodiac 5500
Has anyone replaced the factory headlights on a Kodiac and what and where did you purchase them. The factory lights a pretty poor.

I am picking up my Seneca today after having the recall done. I will see if they will show me what they did. I thought it was just a rerouting of the propane line in the slideout.

RE: National Recall on Jayco Seneca Super C to be announced
I called to schedule the Seneca in to the dealer for all the recalls and was told they would have it for a minimum of two weeks. Supposedly, Jayco does not furnish any recall parts for them to keep on hand and they only receive the parts when the Seneca is brought to the dealer.

RE: They got my power cord
My face is red from embarrassment but I found the cord in another storage compartment all nicely rolled up. The Onan repair guys must have used it and put it in another compartment. Now I have two! I am still not going to leave them in the storage compartments due to the theft of copper going on. I should have looked in the other compartments but just thought it was stolen due to not being where I normally keep it.

They got my power cord
Set up my Seneca last weekend. When I went to get my power cord, I could'nt find it in the back storage. Someone either stole it while I had in in the shop for Onan repair or where I have it stored. Cost me $300.00 to replace. Bummer

RE: Battery hold down straps disintegrated
I found that the clip on the house batteries in my 06 Seneca had disintegrated. It almost appears that it burned but there was no fire. Evidently everyone that has these straps and clips from Jayco has the same problem. Where did you purchase replacement belts and clips that will stand up to the exposure.

Onan Trouble
I have a problem with my Onan that came with my Jayco Seneca shutting down last night and showing trouble code 27. I have barely used the generator but I have never had a problem until last night. Anyone else have this problem and what caused it. Did Onan have to fix it?
